Man Arrested for Sexually Assaulting Hotel Maid

Officers arrested a young man last week in Las Vegas, Nevada for the sexually assaulting a maid at a hotel on the Las Vegas strip.

According to the police report, the 65-year-old woman was attacked by a 19-year-old suspect. The man reportedly sexually assaulted the older woman and then forced her to leave his room. Luckily, someone saw the maid leave the room with blood on her face. The witness then peeked into the man's room and saw the man putting on his clothes back on.

Based on evidence from the eyewitness and the maid, police were able to obtain an identity for the suspect. He was arrested four days later on four criminal counts including: burglary, sexual assault of a victim over 65, sexually-motivated coercion, and battery with intent to commit a sexual assault. An arrest warrant allowed officers to search his home as well. There they found two pieces of clothing with blood stains from the victim.
