Las Vegas Man Arrested for Death of 3-Year-Old
A 34-year-old Las Vegas man was arrested in a case involving the death of his girlfriend's 3-year-old son.
The man was arrested after police investigated the death of the child when the man took the child to the hospital, allegedly asking a neighbor to drive while he administered CPR.
He allegedly told investigators that the boy had been found face down in the bath tub after he told the child to go take shower because he had vomited. When the body was discovered the man emailed his girlfriend who was at work telling her to come home, and that she was scared.
Police reports state that after the man was arrested he changed his story about the injuries the child appeared to have on his face and body as well as other aspects of the child's injury. The medical staff at the hospital reported to police that the child had suffered severe head trauma.
