FBI Arrest Suspected Wife-Killer in Phillipines
A Las Vegas man was arrested earlier this week in the Phillipines by the FBI following a large investigation in which the man was allegedly discovered to have been lying about his wife's death months earlier.
The decomposed body of the man's wife was discovered in a planter in his backyard while the resident renting the home was doing yardwork with a neighbor. The body was highly decomposed, necessitating identification through well-known tattoos of the wife's eyebrows.
The man allegedly lied to family and friends for several months stating that his wife had died in a car accident in the Phillipines and/or Las Vegas, depending upon who he was talking to.
Following the discovery of the body, which was covered in layers of lime, wrapped in plastic, a tarp and additional fabric, and then wrapped several times with rope from head to toe, FBI investigators began searching for the man believing him to have murdered her. While no trauma was discovered on the body, no official report has been released on the cause of her death.
