Third Suspect Arrested in Attempted Murder Case
A 23-year-old man has been arrested in the case involving a thrown rock which smashed through the windshield of a vehicle, severely injuring the driver.
David Neil Taylor fled Pahrump after he threw a large rock through the windshield of a passing car occupied by 20-year-old Stacie Johnson and the driver.
Johnson was struck violently in the face by the rock which caused her severe injury. The driver contacted emergency services, whereby Johnson was soon after airlifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas for treatment.
Two suspects, Kevin Thomas Hannah and Timothy Michael Hanahan, were previously arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault, battery and other charges in connection with the case.
David Neil Taylor, the third suspect, was finally tracked down in Oregon where he was arrested for the attempted murder, intimidation, and several other charges. He is scheduled to appear at an extradition hearing is scheduled for next week.
