Former Athlete Arrested in Connection with Las Vegas Death
A former athlete at a Cal State university, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly killing a 27-year-old woman in Las Vegas last year.
Authorities arrested the man Wednesday in Mississippi after authorities obtained as-of-yet undisclosed evidence that led them to his arrest. The man had been a suspect in the case since the discovery of the victim's naked body by two men who were target shooting in the area. When they discovered her body, it was reportedly buried beneath blackened rocks and showed signs of being burnt and was missing fingers on one hand.
If evidence determines that the man is responsible for the crime, he will likely face violent crime charges for murder, and possibly
weapons charges if a weapon was involved.
