Police Impersonator Arrested
After a man was discovered impersonating a detective, Douglas Brian Irvin Jr. was taken into custody on multiple charges.
According to the Las Vegas police department, Irvin, 32, identified himself to a masseuse as a potential client. Isabella, the masseuse's stage name, met him at a casino hotel room to give him a sensual rub for the price of $180. However, Irvin began to touch Isabella against her will; when she rebuked his advances, Irvin offered to pay her $10,000 for sex. She turned him down again, at which point Irvin pulled out a laminated card that said "police" on it.
He then threatened to arrest her if she didn't have sex with him for no charge. When officers searched Irvin's wallet, they found multiple pictures of himself in a police uniform. He later told them that he had them from various roles played in "CSI" and "The Hangover."
