Victim Murdered after Roommate Dispute

Local news sources say that one roommate, a 28-year-old male, witnessed the victim, a 60-year-old male, as he struck a third roommate. Days later, the older roommate disappeared. However, neither of his roommates reported him as missing, a suspicious fact that didn't make sense to officers when his body was discovered two days later.
After speaking with both men, the police took one roommate into custody and booked him into the jail. He was charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon, although more charges could follow pending an investigation. It is uncertain as to whether police will bring the second roommate into custody for the murder at this time.
