Young Suspect Charged with Sexual Assault and Robbery

A young man could spend years behind bars if he is found to be guilty of not only theft but multiple sex crimes as well. Police in Las Vegas, Nevada detained a 19-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and sexual assault. He is believed to have committed a string of robberies in the Las Vegas area.

In at least one of those cases, the young man assaulted a woman inside her home. As a result, he was charged with sexual assault with a deadly weapon. He also faces charges of kidnapping, invasion of a home and battery with intent to commit robbery. The suspect reportedly told police that he entered the home under the impression that nobody was present. However, when a woman appeared, the young man brutally attacked and sexually assaulted her.
