Mother Victim of Sex Crimes

A young mother and her infant child are lucky to be alive after a break in and sexual assault in their own home. Luckily, police have already arrested the man believed to have committed the sex crimes.

The suspect, a 19-year-old man, has been charged with sexual assault and violent home invasion. Police reports show that he entered the home of a woman and her baby to rob them. He did not realize that anyone was around so when the homeowner appeared, he panicked. Not only did he take some of her valuables but he sexually assaulted her before he left.

Based on evidence found at the scene, police believe that the same man may have been involved in several other robberies in the area as well.
