Suspect Arrested for Murder of Homeless Man
While the death of a homeless man doesn't normally garner much media attention, the brutal stabbing of one made front page news.
In Las Vegas, Nevada, an 18-year-old male suspect was taken into custody for the murder of a man that was homeless. Even though he has been accused of killing the victim, the suspect is claiming that he acted in self-defense and that the man assaulted him first with a stick.
The suspect said that after fighting for several moments, the homeless man pulled out his own knife and stabbed him multiple times. The suspect was later treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and then arrested for murder with a deadly weapon.
He is currently being held at a detention center in Las Vegas.
