3-Year-Old Killed during Drive-by Shooting
According to news sources, a gang inspired shooting was responsible for taking the life of an innocent 3-year-old boy in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Police officers in Oakland say that a 22-year-old male suspect was driving along a street when he started opening fire. Unfortunately, one of the bullets struck the toddler, killing him instantly. After speaking with the family of the victim, police determined that the shooting is likely to have been gang-related.
The suspect was taken into custody several hours later and charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of murder. Since he is no stranger to the law - he was already on parole for illegal gun charges - legal experts believe that judge won't show leniency in his case.
Reports indicate that in addition to the young boy, two men were seriously injured during the drive-by shooting.
