NJ Man Arrested for Violating Casino Ban

A man from New Jersey who was banned from Nevada Casinos in 1994 was arrested on Wednesday for violating the ban. People who are convicted of cheating at casino's often receive a "black book" ban, which is inclusion on Nevada's List of Excluded Persons.

Las Vegas state gaming agents arrested Brent Eli Morris at Caesar's Palace, although he had also been reported at Excalibur. At the time of his arrest, he had $500 casino chips on his person from a different casino. He was held at Clark County Jail on numerous different charges, many of which involved other cheating scandals.

54-year old Morris was banned from New Jersey casinos in 1989, and from Michigan casinos in 2001. Violating of his Michigan parole could land him in prison for 7 to 25 years.
