The principal of Dondero Elementary School, 53 year old LeRoy Espinosa, was arrested on Friday for possession of methamphetamine, which is a felony offense. The arrest followed another arrest of an office manager at Simmons Elementary School. 48 year old Joseph Rodriquez was also arrested for methamphetamine possession, which was found while he was at work.
The two men share a home together and when Rodriquez was arrested, their home was searched, leading to the arrest of Espinosa. They are also facing charges for marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia, which are misdemeanors.
It has not been released exactly how much methamphetamine each man had on him, but they could be facing years in prison and thousands of dollars in fines.
