Teen Who Backed Into Cop's Motorcycle Is Shot By Cop
When a Las Vegas police officer pulled over a 17 year old driver for speeding near Durango High School, he probably did not expect to start shooting.
According to the officer, the teen stopped for the officer, but then reversed and hit him and his motorcycle, prompting the officer to start shooting at the car as it drove away. At least one of the shots he fired hit the teenager, who is now in stable condition at a hospital.
The teen's name has not been released because he is a minor, nor have details about why he attempted to speed away or if he was a student at Durango High School. He will likely be charged with assault and hit and run.
