Police Suspect Connection Between Robberies, Hit and Run
An early morning crime spree in North Las Vegas may be connected to a hit and run accident, police are reporting.
Four places were robbed between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., and a white Nissan Maxima and a red Dodge Neon were seen at all of the sites. As the cars were leaving one of the scenes of the crime, the white Nissan hit a pedestrian. The other car then hit the pedestrian as well. Both cars sped off without stopping or calling for medical attention.
The pedestrian was hit at the interesction of Washington Avenue and Betty Lane and taken to University Medical Center. He or she is in critical condition. The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released.
The suspects are believed to be hispanic males, and all of the robberies were of individuals. Police say that the white Nissan may have damage to the front end.
