Local Businesses Accused by FBI of Scam

Local Las Vegas businesses were served federal search warrants because they have been accused of running a scam that targets other small and local businesses.

The warrants have been confirmed by FBI Agent Joseph Dickey, but no details about the warrants have been released. Silver State Holding Company, Foundation Research Inc., and SBA Consulting Services, Inc. were all searched by the FBI. All of these businesses essentially work with small business owners to help them get grants from foundations and the federal government.

All three businesses have an online reputation for being scams. According to numerous complaints, businesses paid their fees for services and then never received grant money.
