1 Dead, 3 Injured in Wednesday Morning Robberies
The Wednesday morning robberies that sent a pedestrian to the hospital have resulted in tragedy. The pedestrian who was hit, 50 year old Tim VanDerbosch, was a physics and chemistry teacher at Eldorado High School.
More details about the robberies have been released, including that VanDerbosch was beaten and robbed before he was hit by a car. After being robbed by a group of four or five Hispanic men, he was left in the road, where he was hit by another driver. The other driver stopped to help and was cooperative with police.
The other 3 victims who were robbed were also sent to the hospital with injuries. It has not been released what condition the others are in, but one of the victims was stabbed and others were assaulted and pistol-whipped.
