Teen Girl Killed Over Father's Debt
William Postorino, a Las Vegas father, owed an unspecified amount of money to Norman Belcher, a 35 year old with multiple felonies on his record. When Belcher came to collect, Postorino was allegedly at the casino. His 15 year old daughter, Alexus Postorino and a family friend, 31 year old Nicholas Brabham were at the apartment when Belcher kicked in the door. He is now being held at Clark County jail without bail on charges of burglary with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon, murder and attempted murder.
According to reports, he then shot both of them and stole a laptop, a TV and a safe. Belcher was critically wounded in the hip and had to undergo surgery at University Medical Center. Alexus died at the hospital.
Belcher was given a traffic citation approximately 30 minutes after the murder. He denies having received a ticket, but the officer has positively identified him. The car that he was driving was found burned on the side of the road.
Belcher has previously plead guilty to voluntary manslaughter, felony drug trafficking, grand theft auto and conspiracy to commit battery.
