Stepson and Stepfather: Apparent Murder-Suicide
When 27 year old Audrey Miller and his stepfather went to visit a friend and have a drink, they did not know that it would end in a murder-suicide tragedy. According to the witnesses, they were arguing at the friend's house right before they left. Then on the way home, the stepfather demanded that his stepson get out of the car. Miller complied, but then also pulled his stepfather from the seat and began to beat him. Then, he took his stepfather's spot in the car and drove over him multiple times. The stepfather was fatally injured.
A missing person's report was filed for the stepfather when he did not return the next morning. A person unrelated to the crime was walking through the desert when they found his body. When Las Vegas law enforcement officers found Miller, he was sitting in his stepfather's car on Bonnie Springs Road. He shot himself with a shotgun as police neared; they declared him dead at the scene.
