Silver Strike Casino Robbed
A Silver Springs casino lost more than $11,000 in a robbery on Thursday. Reports indicate that the robber entered the casino around 6:00 a.m., that he was wearing a ski mask, dark gloves, dark jeans and a gray sweatshirt. He then walked to the cashier and showed that he had a gun before commanding that the cashier put money in a black bag that he had put on the counter. He made off with over $11,000.
Police know that he was driving a white sedan with 4 doors. He was also described as being white, male and had a young sounding voice.
The Silver Strike Casino is located on Highway 50 East in Silver Springs, which is near Dayton and Carson City.
